By 2023, the country has experienced a notable increase in solar energy production, marking an important milestone in its transition to a low-carbon economy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Increase in Solar Energy Production in Spain<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to data published by Red El\u00e9ctrica, the share of solar photovoltaic energy in the national electricity mix has reached 14%, with a production of 37,000 GWh. This represents a 34% increase over 2022.<\/p>\n<p>This increase in solar energy production is the result of a number of factors. First, Spain has made significant investments in solar technology, which has enabled the country to take advantage of its abundant sunshine to generate electricity.
